Recently named Motor Trend’s 2010 Car of the Year, the new Ford Fusion beat out dozens of its competitors with its redesigned front end, stylish interior, new transmission, and upgraded engine. It’s the improved fuel efficiency, however, that turns the heads of new customers as the Ford Fusion gets an impressive combined 27 miles per gallon over the Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord, both getting a combined 25 miles per gallon.
Since its redesign, the 2010 Ford Fusion continues to be a top seller for Ford Motor Company. According to Autodata Corp., sales for the Ford Fusion were on the increase at a rate of 15.3% in October alone. Its competitors, Toyota and Honda, however, have both posted a mid 20% decline in their sales.
