K.L. Brady thinks women need a cure for "Wrong Men-itis" ...so she wrote a prescription in the form of her first novel.
"The Bum Magnet" chronicles a year in the life of realtor Charisse Tyson who wonders why she attracts "fixer-uppers"
Brady, a D.C. native who lives in Prince George's County, the setting of her new novel, is thrilled to have the opportunity to promote her indie novel in an independent bookstore. "I am honored by The Literary Joint's offer to host a book signing. It's surreal because I used to attend elementary school at Longfield which is right around the corner. I hope people throughout the community will come and support this wonderful store and a homegrown independent author."

She's an alumnus of the University of the District of Columbia and University of Maryland University College, earning a B.A. in Economics and M.B.A., respectively.
