TM Shahid Altaf Qureshi receiving the Best Speaker Award from TM Mohsin Lodhi
Islamabad Toastmasters Club held the 65th regular meeting on November 17, 2009 at Lok Virsa, Islamabad. The Toastmaster of the Evening and Presiding Officer, Toastmaster Mohsin Lodhi conducted the meeting and emphasized the values of Toastmasters and explained the agenda and format of the meeting.
The meeting started with introduction of the role players and the guests. Table Topics Master, Toastmaster Mian Ramzan conducted the session very well. Along with the members, guests also participated and the Best Table Topics Speaker award was given to a guest Muhammad Ali.
In the prepared speeches, Toastmaster Umar Chughtai and Toastmaster Shahid Altaf Qureshi both delivered their fourth speeches according to the Competent Communicator’
Among the big 3 roles, the General Evaluator, Toastmaster Arshad Hamid won the Big 3 Award while the First Timer ribbon was awarded to the youngest Toastmaster Immad Shahid Qureshi. Toastmaster Arshad Hamid has also completed his Competent Leadership Track however he has already done his Competent Communicator track.
The club meets every Tuesday at NICS Gate 5, Lok Virsa at 6:45 PM.
