The Million Pound Homepage - Cheap Pixel Advertising

Jon March, a 23 year old student and entrepreneur is the owner of “The Million Pound Homepage” (http://www.millionpound.org), a revolutionary new advertising concept destined for big things. The idea is simple, he offers 1 million pixels for a price of 1 pound each. Once the pixels have been purchased they can be used to place an image advertisement on the homepage pixel wall.

Jon March says: “The pixels you buy will be displayed on the homepage permanently. My site will be online for 5 years guaranteed (at least until 26th August 2014), however the aim is to keep my site online forever”.

Since the finishing of the beta stages and launch of the website it has started to receive a large amount of traffic. If the traffic statistics continue to fluctuate like they have been then reaching 1 million pixels should not be a problem.

It will be interesting to monitor the sale of pixels over the next few years, and where each company will choose to display their advertisment on the pixel wall.
