The program allows members to get approximately $5.00 per $1,000 back on their move by using one of the real estate agents in the Mayflower’s national network and using them as their moving company. The cash back is based on the sale price of the current home or the purchase price of the new home. Additionally, all enrolled members receive full valuation protection on their shipment with a $0 and $250 deductible at no extra cost.
The program also offers school reports, city profile reports and two-city comparison reports making it easier and less stressful for consumers to make thoughtful decisions on where they are moving to and the quality of life. Much of the buying, selling and moving process can be handled through this one program.
How the CityPointe program works:
• Consumers must register with Lincoln Moving & Storage to get access to a national network of real estate agents.
• Consumers must use Lincoln Moving & Storage to move their household goods and sell their home or purchase a new home with a real estate agent referred by CityPointe. Consumers who utilize real estate agents referred by CityPointe to sell their old home and purchase a new residence could also earn double the cash back.
• For Example: A family who sold a home at $400,000 using the CityPointe program would enjoy $2,000 cash back after the sale. They could use those funds to pay for moving expenses.
