The fine art exhibition of contemporary Canadian artist Karen McNab on display at Gallery MCNABS.NET has been expanded to include earlier works by the artist. Additions to the presentation include a self portrait executed in colored pencil, a watercolour landscape painting of Earl Bales Park in Toronto, a watercolour landscape scene of a Felucca (traditional sailing craft) on the Nile River, Egypt and an intriguing watercolour abstract entitled "Heredity".
The latest additions augment the substantial body of original art work by Karen McNab already on exhibit at Gallery MCNABS.NET, which includies a number of original oil paintings and drawings in graphite pencil. Three of these oil paintings - Still Life with Pumpkin, White Lily and August Sunset - were selected as category first prize winners at the 2009 Markham Fair Art Contest., one of Canada's largest seasonal fairs. Still Life with Pumpkin also won the overall Best Oil or Acrylic at the Fair.
Many of the works are available for purchase as originals. Most are on offer for sale as giclee limited edition reproductions on canvas or archival paper and as custom greeting cards at the onlline Gallery MCNABS.NET web site http://mcnabs.net .
