Elemental Flooring is a new flooring line from Nova USA Wood Products featuring wood flooring collections from around the world. An extensive line of tropical and temperate wood species will be available in both prefinished engineered and prefinished solid formats. In contrast to many popular branded flooring lines that feature the name or names of their proprietors as the brand's name, Nova's Elemental brand was designed to represent the line's high standards of quality, durability, design, and respect for the environment.
Elemental Flooring features four flooring categories, each with its own geographically distinct species and styles. According to the flooring line's slogan, each line features its own expression of “The Timeless Beauty of Nature.”
World Collection – The Elemental World Collection features exotic wood species from Asia. These species include small leaf and big leaf Acacia as well as Kempas, Bankirai, and Taun.
Exotic Collection – The Exotic Collection features exotic wood species from the tropical forests of South America. These species include Brazilian Cherry, Cumaru, Tiger Wood, Ipe, Massaranduba, Tiete Rosewood, Patagonian Rosewood, Lapacho, Amendoim, Kurupayra, and Santos Mahogany. Many of these species are available from FSC certified green forests.
Classics Collection – The Classics Collection features woods that are native to North America that have long been popular standards in the home décor of that region. These species include Birch, Hickory, Ash, Maple, White Oak, and Red Oak.
The Heritage Collection – The Heritage Collection features many similar wood species as the classics collection. The fundamental difference between the two collections is that the Heritage Collection contains hand distressed woods, or woods that have been hand scraped to add more texture to the wood's appearance. Species in this collection include Acacia, Oak, Birch, and Hickory.
The Elemental Flooring line will be carried by leading retailers throughout the United States and Canada. More information about the product line can be found at http://www.novausawood.com/
