Maui Shower Company, is proud to announce its support of Motor Racing Outreach (MRO) at Homestead Miami Speedway for the running of the 2009 Ford Championship Weekend. The weekend of November 20th - 22nd includes NASCAR’s Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck series. Maui is providing the MRO with a use of a Maui Mobile Suite, a brand new concept in mobile accommodations. The Maui Mobile Suites are an on-site, stylish suite-on-wheels designed to provide the comforts of a hotel with the added bonus of staying on or near the track property. The MRO will utilize the Maui Mobile Suite to sleep and house up to 8 of their staff members as they meet the needs of NASCAR competitors and their families at Homestead Miami Speedway during this exciting event.
The at-track Motor Racing Outreach Women and Children's Ministry program is a source of normalcy and stability for the families of NASCAR competitors. For the majority of the season, MRO provides a traveling community center fashioned from a 28-foot trailer each race weekend. The program also provides child care and children's programs such as crafts, games, toys, singing and Bible study while dad is driving and mom is cheering him on from the pits.
During the Ford Championship race weekend, the standard 28 foot MRO trailer will be replaced with a 51 foot Maui Mobile Suite, that comes with upscale features and an abundance of amenities including:
• Game room with large flat screen TV, game systems, and ample seating
• Spacious lounge area with chairs, couches, and flat screen TV
• Digital satellite receiver
• Kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and sink
• Up to 12 private sleeping units that each contain a TV/DVD, electronic plug-ins, individual heat/AC controls, lockable cabinet, lockable drawers, and reading light
• 4 room expansion slide-outs for increased living and meeting space
• 2 restrooms complete with multiple sinks and a shower
“This is our very first model which has been designed to accommodate 8 team members and we are delighted to be able to make it available to the MRO and hope it helps them in the very special services they provide racing families. Our next model is being designed to accommodate drivers, car owners and crew chiefs. Maui Mobile Suites provide up to 86% more living space than a traditional 45 foot motor home for a fraction of the cost,” commented Tim Watts President of Maui Mobile Suites.
