Previous versions of Compleo Suite employ a direct in SAP connector, however with Compleo Suite 4.7 major upgrades have been made, achieving an easier and more flexible integration with SAP by utilizing a Virtual Printer. Users can automatically import SAP spool files into Compleo Suite, without the aid of an SAP administrator. Another advantage of the new SAP connector is that users are given the option to work directly from their local machines, meaning no work is being done on the server ensuring zero degradation of performance. Finally, the SAP Virtual Printer allows users to pull information regarding the document processing status directly into the SAP environment.
“Compleo Suite 4.7 can now automatically process files coming in as an email attachment in a POP3 mailbox. This allows users owning ERP/Servers other than Power i or SAP to take advantage of Compleo Suite by configuring their ERP to send their output by email, or as a text file to a Compleo Suite dedicated mailbox. Compleo can now manage documents coming from suppliers, making archiving documents easy.” says Bernard Aldebert, Symtrax’s Chief Executive Officer. “I am particularly proud of the new resource center module that allows our customers to effectively manage their printers, allowing them to access and utilize different printers or choose a backup printer”.
