Sweet Inspirations for the Soul
Pamela K. Norwood, author of Sweet Inspirations for the Soul, attended the Miami International Book Show on Sunday, November 15, 2009. It was not her first book signing, but it was arguably the best that she received. She prepared to give out many free copies of her book of inspirational Christian poetry. She ordered many, many copies only to find out that she did not bring enough. She had to stop distributing the free copies early at her first signing in order to make sure she had enough copies for the second signing session! God was really blessing her accordingly.
She was scheduled for book signings at 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM, respectively. The patrons continued to crowd her booth to obtain their free copies and a signature from the Michigan based Christian author. Some patrons cried as they sought hope from Norwood’s book to help comfort them through their own personal losses. Norwood could relate to their struggles, because she became a very young widow a mere 6 years ago. This personal tragedy was one of the reasons the Sweet Inspirations for the Soul series was given birth. She found personal comfort during her suffering moments by waking up early in the morning, before the sun rose, to write Scripture inspired poetry. She then compiled these heart-felt inspiring poems to share with others.
She is determined to bring glory and honor to God for all of His blessings He has given unto her. She just wants to share the comfort of God with others. She uses her pen to help the hopeless have hope, the depressed find joy, and the comfortless find comfort.
