The New Jersey State Library has partnered with Gold Mobile, a leading provider of mobile enterprise solutions, to write a book with “50,000 text messages of collective wisdom” in support of National Write Your Own Book Month. Titled “H2H (Human to Human) Wisdom in 160 Characters”, the work will contain words of personal advice and inspiration submitted by people from every walk of life.
To take part, anyone can submit their contribution by texting “H2H” followed by a “space” and their words of wisdom to 51684. People who include a first name or initials will have that information published along with their quote. Texts cannot be longer than 160 characters. The process will continue until the 50,000 word limit has been reached. All entries must be received by November 30. Entries cannot contain profanity or personal references and NJSL reserves the right the select the quotes to be included in the book. Participants will receive a response to let them know their submission has been accepted. Participants will be kept updated about the book with up to 1 message per week and may reply STOP anytime. Message rates may apply.
“Our mobile platform enables NJSL to easily integrate personalized social feedback and build a local community of interest for each library and its network.” said Bob Gold, Founder and CEO of Gold Mobile.
Once completed, the book will be available online for all to be inspired.
