‘For the Love of Naomi’ tells the remarkable story of William and Mary Stevenson and their ‘Korean’ daughter, Naomi, whom they found abandoned on the streets of Seoul, South Korea’s capital. Lorraine in her unique, empathetic, sensitive yet humorous style recounts the couple’s experiences of their life in Northern Ireland, their time in the mission fields of South Korea and their eventual settlement in the USA.
The transcription process is currently ongoing and ‘For the Love of Naomi’ will appear in audio (DAISY), giant print and braille versions next spring. The Torch Trust aims to add over 200 titles to their extensive library each year and Lorraine is delighted to participate in the scheme so her work will be accessible to those who would not normally be able to enjoy it.
