“The concept called ‘Lazy Sunday' was originally launched at our restaurants in London,” explained Angelo Domenico Rosato General Manager of Ping Pong Dubai “Here in the Middle East we naturally chose a Friday as it is the day we can all relax and indulge in the things we love.”
But it not just about the restaurant experience, the ‘Lazy Friday' concept embodies anything you may want to do on a Friday, with Ping Pong integral to your Friday experience whether routine or not.
“In our case we have a prime location in Dubai Mall, so diners may want to combine their lazy culinary experience at Ping Pong with a spot of window shopping, enjoying the dancing fountains or for the more energetic a few laps of the ice rink.
“It's a great way to while away your Friday with friends and family and to be a little bit more adventurous not only with your taste buds, but with your leisure activities,”
To celebrate that point, Ping Pong has added an extra bonus – you can now go lazy until 5pm. With a celebrated collection of over 40 hand crafted dim sum dishes and specials on the menu, diners will be served the finest gourmet delights from the scallop and shitake favourites that melt in the mouth to the king of the dumplings, the prawn Har Gau.
“For the Ping Pong regulars, you can try the dim sum you don't usually order and for those that have never been to Ping Pong, what a perfect way to discover new and exciting flavours hidden in those little parcels of deliciousness.”
Rosato advised that the best way to order at Lazy Fridays is to choose three dishes at a time – “That way you have a variety or fusion of flavours and they don't get cold. You can keep ordering until you can eat no more”.
“With our relaxed, friendly atmosphere and exquisite collection of the finest in Chinese cuisine combined with spectacular views overlooking the Dubai fountain this is a fantastic opportunity for people to come together and experience the taste of a great alternative brunch,” Rosato added.
Prices for ”Lazy Fridays” are inclusive of service charge and start at AED65 for children and AED132 per adult, with children under 5 eating for free (not including the chef special, signature dishes, desserts, drinks).
