PHOENIX, AZ –– The Arizona Chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (AzHIMSS) names Mike Abrams to their Board of Directors. In his role as Communications Chairman, Abrams will leverage social media and traditional marketing communications to increase awareness of events and services, foster dialogue of important healthcare information systems topics and member participation.
“After speaking at the National HIMSS Conference in Chicago this spring, I was very keen to become more involved at the local level. I’m pleased to work with such industry knowledgeable professionals who serve as members on the board. Through our programs, advocacy, and member communications, we are truly going to have one of the most dynamic chapters in the US,” said Abrams.
