This band of so called idiots has hit the music scene sideways. There antics are a lot different than what I have scene in the past. When I went to there show at LSUA last wekend I was shocked to hear the sounds coming from the stage. It was as if the rock&roll beast that was locked up in the pits of hell was released for one night of pillaging! The sound was like a vintage wine that gave me a buzz after the first glass.I think the last time I felt this way was the first time I heard Sound Garden on the radio of my dilapidated car in high school.Justin Tranchita the lead singer of the group not only sang with authority, he also charmed everyone in the audience with his humerus theatrics. It felt like he was Andy Kaufman with a twist of Layne Staley. The group which consists of Justin Tranchita,Nick & Luke Ducote and Wolfman, (their very hairy drummer) played as if they were at a lounge in Vegas to a crowd of carney's at a ring toss convention .Instead of the same old stage implosion, play a few songs, tell a story, pick your teeth, and then get off stage, Justin began to heckle the crowd. Not in the way that would incite a riot and cause his untimely demise, but in the way your best friend does when you are at the bar trying to pick someone up and no one will talk to you. Luke and Nick Ducote played on as if they could with stand the force of a hurricane blowing the field house to the ground, and the Wolfman (wearing a Russian babushka on his head) went to town backwards as if he could care less. The show was a true spectacle in the form of P.T. Barnum and the music was absolutely phenomenal. The bands new single "The Devil Song" is now available for download at all major online media outlets.I say if Fit4failure rolls into your town don't let the name fool you, the only thing they failed at was being just like everyone else.I hope to see them myself the next time they bring the circus to town!
