"We are always looking for new technology to support our customers" says Randy Dewey, Vice President of Pegasus Ventures Michigan, a Grand Rapids Michigan based web site design firm. "This new tool takes our customer support to a whole new place and it will be awesome!" Dewey went on to say.
This new tool allows Pegasus Ventures Michigan to support customers over the web by working on the customers computer without having to visit the customer. Dewey notes, "Sometimes we can spend 30 minutes helping a customer program Outlook or another email client. With all the different programs and versions of programs it is difficult to authoritatively tell customers know exactly what they need to do to make their email work without seeing what they are working with. The customer is not familiar with the software and we end up spending lots of time to do something they may only need us to do once."
Dewey went on to say, "This new tool allows us to email the customer giving us permission to work on their computer. We can now set up their software from our office while also allowing the client to see exactly how it is done."
"This supports our intention to expand beyond our core West Michigan Market. We no longer have any impediment to helping our customers from our office in Comstock Park, just outside Grand Rapids," Dewey says.
