Video Game Players Association (VGPA)
The new Video Game Players Association selected NGD2009 for its debut to help promote awareness of the second annual event and to showcase the participating libraries and the American Library Association. NGD2009 will offer all types of gaming including video game tournaments which will be available at participating libraries. For additional information and publicity tools, visit http://ngd.ala.org/
It’s not about, “Da Bears,” it’s about, “Da Gamers!” VGPA, based in Chicago, will be engaging the video game community by offering an on-line centralized database of industry contacts. VGPA will also boast the VGPA Society, an on-line social community for gamers. The new on-line address is http://www.VideoGamePlayers.ORG.
“We are all very excited about the launch of the new VGPA,” said JB Lee, President & Executive Director. “We will offer our members the opportunity to be a part of the only national directory of video game players.”
