The Importance of Accountability
Continental Congress 2009 is now in session. Tennessee Delegates have assembled with delegates from 49 states in St. Charles, Illinois.
From Nov. 11-22nd, the delegates are creating a clear and resounding plan to hold government officials accountable to our U.S. Constitution. Our Founding Founders included a written guarantee of the Right of accountability in the First Amendment, as an absolutely necessary and critical part of the overall balance of power between the People and Government officials. The result would be an enormous shift of power from the Government back to the People where the ultimate power was meant to reside in the first place.
