An Antique German 925/1000 Silver Heart Shaped Vanity Box decorated with a figural design of two ladies and a gentleman reposing in a meadow. The sides of the box are designed with a joyous motif of puttis at play. The hinged cover opens to the right to reveal a trinket box. Fully Hallmarked with German maker’s stamps and a STERLING stamp. Nice Patina. Excellent Condition. 8.7 Troy Ounces. The box measures approx. 5 ¼ in. X 5 in. and stands 1 ¾ in. high.
