Institute of Management Education and Analyses (i-mean) is a start-up online business school, established in 2007 and founded by management professionals having varied experience in different specializations, including non profit management, business development, human resources management and so on. The objective of the institute is to provide online certificate programs in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Non Profit Management and Executive Leadership. The curriculum includes not only the e-text books but books on contemporary management wisdom like “One Minute Manager”, “7 habits of effective people” and also books related to philosophical dimensions of life like “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho, besides others. This curriculum definitely has an edge to other similar programs available in the country. The other element of the programs is the flexibility and the low cost model, which reaches out to a larger number of students, albeit with quality in curriculum.
Administratively, the institute is located in Mumbai. The institute has not sought government accreditation as of now as the certificate programs are meant for people working in the private sector, who wish to enhance their skills and capabilities, although people working for private sector are most welcome to join the programs.
The institute is collaborating with like minded institutes who have a reputation in the private sector, for academic quality and maintaining standards in educating.
The first batch is expected to start in April 2010.
