FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov 13, 2009 -
Our Computer contains many devices; each and every device has its own value and importance. RAM is one of the necessary parts of the computer.

When we work on Computer, at that time RAM stores all the programs on temporary basis, this is the reason when you exit from any program the option pop up which basically ask you to save that work.

Working of RAM is that when you run a program, the respective data from the hard disk stores temporarily on the RAM. When you run another program, it again temporarily stores the respective data and gives it the high priority, so with the help of RAM we run many programs at the same time. The number of program that we can run at same time is depending upon the size of the memory.

The size of the memory maps in MB’s, GB’s. 5GB RAM is better instead of a 512MB. But 5GB RAM is more costly then the 512 MB.

Types of RAM: There are mainly two types of RAM, SRAM and DRAM.

•   DRAM:  Dynamic Random Access Memory.
DRAM is unarguably the most common type of RAM,
because it stores each bit of data in a separate
Capacitor.

•   SRAM: Static Random Access Memory.
SRAM is much faster and more reliable then DRAM but
it is very costly.

The main thing that is to be considered before purchasing a memory for your computer is its compatibility with your computer.
