World-renowned Contemporary Painter Henry Asencio Set for Rare One-Man Show at Vinings Gallery

Nov. 12, 2009 - PRLog -- Vinings Gallery is pleased to announce that it will host a rare, two-day event with the contemporary museum artist Henry Asencio on February 20 and 21, 2010. Art enthusiasts from around Atlanta and the South will enjoy observing Asencio at work as he creates an original oil painting and an original charcoal drawing during the Vinings Gallery show. This event marks only the fourth appearance in as many years by the intriguing, young artist in the Atlanta area.

Best known for his masterpieces of the female form, Henry Asencio's signature style combines elements of abstract expressionism and abstract realism. The artist's unusual approach and style has touched the souls of collectors around the globe. Working mainly in oils, his open brushwork, sweeping color, use of texture and precise drawing appeals to a wide range of art lovers and has earned him critical acclaim in the fine art world.
