Chris Balzano, Project Manager, Domusstudio Architecture
Leading San Diego architecture firm Domusstudio Architecture has announced a new project manager has joined the team. Christopher M. Balzano, a registered architect from Arizona, joined the California company recently and will be an integral member of the design team. Recognized nationally for its expertise in church architecture, Domusstudio Architecture’
“Chris brings valuable knowledge and experience to our architecture firm and we welcome him to the team,” said Lew Dominy, principal of Domusstudio Architecture. “His hands-on work with library design, custom homes and a variety of other types of projects will fit nicely with the existing talent in our studio.”

A licensed architect in Arizona for the past five years, Balzano has more than 10 years of experience in the field of architecture, including several years as designer/project manager with Will Bruder + Partners, Ltd. in Phoenix. In addition, he spent several summers working construction in New York.
After graduating with honors from Orange County Community College in New York, Balzano accepted an academic scholarship to Syracuse University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in architecture in 1999. While a student there, Balzano participated in an international studies abroad program for a semester in Florence, Italy. He is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. Balzano lives in Hillcrest.
