Rodin4D, CAD/CAM solution for O&P, signs a partnership with the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong

Nov. 12, 2009 - PRLog -- We are pleased to announce that during the APOSM 2009 congress (Asian Prosthetic and Orthotic Scientific Meeting), which took place from 20 to 22 August 2009 at the Polytechnic University of Hong-Kong, Rodin4D, developers of a complete CAD/CAM solution for orthotists and prosthetists, offered 15 licenses for their 3D digital rectification software to the students of the department of "Health Technology and Informatics ".

Orthotists and Prosthetists are specialists in assessing patient’s needs, prescribing, designing and providing patients with custom made devices to enable them to have an improved quality of life. The APOSM 2009 congress allowed Dr. Mr. S. This partnership will allow the industry professionals of the future to master the technology and hopefully use it in their future careers.

The Congress also gave Mr Mickael Guimberteau, Rodin4D International Trade Manager the opportunity to present the students and staff of the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong with fifteen licences for use in the department.
