Dream Town beat out runners up @properties and Wichert Realtors, Frankel and Giles for the designation. Nominees were chosen by an online poll of area realtors who were asked to pick their "favorites" for 17 different real estate related categories. Agents from all over Chicagoland participated in the survey with thousands of responses. It is the first year Chicago Agent announced the top nominees prior to acknowledging the winners of each category, who were honored at an event at The Merchandise Mart on Tuesday, November 3.
"We are delighted to have won the award for Favorite Web Site because online innovation is an area where we have always worked hard to excel," said Yuval Degani, president and co-founder of Dream Town Realty. "It's great to be recognized by our peers in this category. And it was before the new version of our site was even rolled out."
The 4th version of DreamTown.com went live on Tuesday, November 3 – same day the company received the award for its previous 3rd generation site, which also offered ground-breaking home search tools when it launched in early 2008. Dream Town's recently redeveloped site has a number of new features using brand new technology and proprietary applications that are not available anywhere else (http://www.DreamTown.com).
"Dream Town's Interactive Map Search is a whole new way to look for listings," Mr. Degani said. "Now users can simply draw a search area on a Chicago map and find homes in their price range within that area. This is revolutionary technology home buyers can only get on DreamTown.com."

Yehuda Cohen accepted the "Favorite Web Site" nomination for Dream Town Realty at the awards ceremony, which had more than 150 guests in attendance. Mr. Cohen is a real estate specialist with Dream Town. A photograph of Mr. Cohen accepting the award is printed in the November 9th issue of Chicago Agent magazine along with the other category winners.
Other Agents' Choice Awards were given for Favorite Overall New Development, Favorite Eco-Friendly Project, Favorite Brokerage, Favorite Value, Favorite Developer, Favorite Luxury Real Estate Services, Favorite Model Units, and Favorite Mortgage Company. All categories have separate designations for city and suburban winners except Favorite Mortgage Company.
