ATLANTA- DiscountCall.com, Inc, a national telecommunications company, recently became the telecommunications provider for Atlanta Ballet, supplying the world-renowned dance organization with Samsung phone systems at its main location and at a satellite location in Marietta, Ga., along with ongoing telecommunications support. The solution includes the use of VoIP and traditional telephony to connect the Atlanta Ballet’s three locations to each other and customers.
Now in its 80th year, the Atlanta Ballet has grown from one location to three sites, with the administrative and box offices and the Centre for Dance Education located in Midtown Atlanta and satellite offices/schools in North Atlanta and Marietta, GA. Initially, these locations were not connected. When a customer called one of the offices in error, employees would give them the correct number and instruct them to hang up and call the appropriate number. DiscountCall installed Samsung phone systems at the Atlanta Ballet’s main location and at a satellite location in Marietta, Ga. They also installed IP phones at all three sites. The solution allows employees at any site to transfer calls as if they were in the same building. Now customers can call any Atlanta Ballet location to purchase tickets to an upcoming show because all locations can transfer calls to the box office at their Midtown Atlanta site.
