There’s a bumper start to the festive season in Swansea on Sunday, 15 November with the opening of Waterfront Winterland; the start of late night opening; events in the City Centre and the ever popular Christmas Parade and Lights Switch On. Here are our tips for a great day…
10am – Waterfront Winterland opens – make sure you’ve booked your ice skating session beforehand online or on 01792 637300
12 noon – entertainment starts in the City Centre
1pm – grab a bite to eat in one of Swansea’s excellent restaurants, pavement cafés or family friendly eateries and pick up some Christmas presents whilst you’re there.
3pm – Back to Waterfront Winterland for the festive funfair. Hop on the Admiral Giant Wheel and see the city at dusk
5pm – The Christmas Parade and Lights Switch On leads off from the Guildhall. Watch the procession of colourful floats as they make their way through the City Centre
