The concept of purchasing ponies via auction is nothing new, but a surprise auction presentation format in the 2010 Ready to Play Auction will raise the standards of pony auctions in the future.
Managing Director of Mucho Polo Ponies Ltd, Jenny McShane commented, “We will keep the new auction presentation format firmly under wraps until auction day.” “We love creating new innovative ideas for the polo industry, so this should be fun for us!”
The auction will be held undercover, so rain won’t be an issue and prospective purchasers will have the opportunity to try their favourite ponies a week prior to the auction, by appointment.
Fans of polo gear will also be catered for. Several of Polo’s favourite merchants will be in attendance. Food buffs will also be spoiled with gastronomic delights.
The imported Chilean polo ponies were unavailable for comment, as they don’t speak English, but Midnight, one of the English thoroughbred lots up for auction commented, “I am looking forward to being the most beautiful filly in the sale ring! The other fillies just don’t come close.” It was observed that her lips actually moved when she said this.
The team at Kidson-Trigg will to conduct the 2010 Ready to Play Pony Auction as they bring specialist knowledge, involvement and experience through many polo auctions across the UK.
