Woven with a combination of 80 percent post-industrial and 20 percent post-consumer yarns, fabric patterns Betula and Perennial are the first 100 percent recycled polyesters with inherent flame-retardant properties for hospital curtains. Betula, a visual mix of geometric blocks and organic textures, and Perennial, decorated with a natural assortment of grasses and shaded plants, blend together to create two understated, yet calming, cubicle curtain textiles.
The soothing qualities of these patterns aside, benefits to the environment are obvious. The purchase of a hospital cubicle curtain manufactured with a 100% recycled polyester means less trash in a landfill, which translates to less water and land pollution. It also means less energy expended in production, which lessens CO2 emissions, causing less air pollution. Because of increased demand for these hospital curtain textiles, the price to the consumer, which used to be at a premium, has recently translated into a far more affordable option.
Betula is available in five colorways: Acadia, Bamboo, Root, Solar and Tundra and Perennial is available in colorways: Fiord, Horizon, Soleil, Tea and Terra Cotta.
