How does a 47-year old comedian, with only five weeks of training, make it through 27 miles a day, six days a week, for seven continuous weeks? With a lot of tenacity. And a little help from Bruce Tulloh and Orbana. Last September, Eddie Izzard succeeded in raising £150,000 for the charity Sport Relief, a biennial charity event sponsored by Comic Relief and BBC Sport, by covering more than 1,110 miles of England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Throughout the challenging run, Izzard was accompanied by several running partners, one of whom was ex 5000 meter European Champion and British Olympian, Bruce Tulloh. Bruce ran with Eddie throughout Stonehenge and was happy to share plenty of running tips to get Eddie through the rest of his run. One thing that Eddie found particularly helpful was Bruce’s introduction to Orbana Healthy Energy Drink. Since its inception, Bruce has been a Brand Ambassador for Orbana, as he views it as the healthiest way sustain high energy levels and improve running performance. Bruce has commented, "I've been in top class sport as an athlete and a coach for fifty years and I would not be involved with Orbana Healthy Energy if I did not believe that it works. I take Orbana for a dose of energy before long runs, and I also take it afterwards as it keeps me full of energy for the rest of the day. It really improves the performance of the runners I coach as well. It goes down easily and keeps them going smoothly, with no crash at all."
One of the reasons why Bruce excitedly identifies himself as an ‘Orbanista’
