Unique New Personalized Books for Military Personnel
And Breast Cancer Patients Coming December 8

Madison, Wisconsin - - On December 8, 2009, Madison, WI-based Change Unlimited
(www.changeunlimited.com) is launching the first two volumes in a line of personalizable books: Honoring You—Our American Military and a Book of Love and Support for Those Living With Breast Cancer.

Each book (www.changeunlimited.com) contains a compilation of stories, poems, sayings, artwork and tips gathered by the editors, along with 20 plastic sleeves into which purchasers can insert photos, handwritten letters of appreciation or encouragement, drawings, CDs or other individualized gifts. Both books also includes special coupons the sender can give the recipient—for things like homemade dinners, a movie, or, for the deployed, telephone calling cards, stationery or personal-care items. Each volume has a removable section with suggestions on how to personalize it and they both conclude with 48 pages for journaling and an autograph section to be signed by doctors, patients or battle mates.

Change Unlimited (www.changeunlimited.com)  founder/president Dorie Geniesse created the organization’s breast cancer book by hand for a friend stricken with the disease. It contained stories, poems and advice from people who had gone through the ordeal, as well as letters of support, photos and artwork from the recipient’s friends. Then Geniesse drafted Michele Gassman to oversee the creation of the breast cancer book and Danielle Kamps to spearhead the military-personnel-appreciation volume. Change Unlimited will publish at least 10 more personalizable books in 2010, including volumes for those with prostate cancer or colorectal cancer, and to celebrate Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and graduation. It will donate 25% of the profits from book sales to non-profit organizations or individuals in need.

Honoring You—Our American Military
Edited by Danielle Kamps, this book is to be personalized and sent to deployed U.S. military personnel and those wounded in action. Military personnel can sign up to be “adopted” by a purchaser of the book. Both parties will be sent information about the other.

“The very least we can do for our service members is say thank you,” Kamps explains. “This book goes a step further and personalizes a special gift for the members of our armed forces. There is nothing out there like this book, and we hope that this small gesture will show the military our gratitude and serve as a reminder that they are in our thoughts.”

Catherine Matloub, an international volunteer for Cross Cultural Solutions, writes, “I can’t imagine anything a deployed service member could receive that would mean more to him or her than this piece of home—a reminder of what and whom they are fighting for.”

A Book of Love and Support for Those Living With Breast Cancer
Edited by Michele Gassman, this book is created as a gift to persons recently diagnosed with breast cancer. “There is a lot of education and information about breast cancer, and we highly encourage women to seek out sound medical advice from their doctor and/or other medical professionals, but emotional support is also essential,” Gassman says. “Through these personalized gifts, loved ones can provide them with a book of support that they can read, re-read and take with them to treatment.”

Patti Kitowski, a marketing consultant in Madison WI, declares, “Feeling alone after a breast cancer diagnosis is normal, but now there is a book to help these people through this difficult journey. This is a compilation of stories from survivors, who can relate on a personal level. It makes a heartfelt gift for a loved one going through diagnosis and treatment, providing valuable support and understanding.”
