Braintree, MA– Northeast Consulting, Inc., a premiere outsourced sales and marketing firm in the Greater Boston area, kicks off a three week long canned food drive that will go until Thanksgiving Eve; where all non-perishable items will then be donated to Braintree Community Pantry.
Braintree Community Pantry is a faith-based operation providing neighbors of Braintree with emergency food supplies. For the last 15 years, Braintree Community Pantry has been helping the residence of Braintree with food and charitable donations to less fortunate families in their time of need. In addition to distributing food and supplies to families, Braintree Community Pantry sponsors several seasonal programs for children.
“We are excited to kick off this food drive, and be able to donate to an organization with a tremendous amount of heart,” Jim Rothermel, President of Northeast Consulting, Inc.
Northeast Consulting, Inc. will spend three weeks collecting non-perishable items such as canned soups, pasta, rice, canned vegetables, cereal, peanut butter, and canned meats. Donations will be dropped off at Braintree Community Pantry on Thanksgiving Eve.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to help those less fortunate, and I encourage our office, as well as our family and friends, to make a difference this holiday,” said Rothermel.

Braintree Community Pantry has been making a difference since 1993. Each year the number of families and children fed has increased; starting back in 1993 with 720 fed. Braintree Community Pantry’s food partly comes from the Boston Food Bank and a small grant from Project Bread.
