Other highlights in the quarter include:
• Tek-Tools launched a pre-release copy of its newest offering, vProfiler, from VMworld in September. Based on its proven enterprise virtualization management solution, Profiler for VMware, vProfiler is an extremely simple, easy-to-use, and powerful analysis, reporting, and monitoring tool designed specifically for early stage virtualization environments.
• Along with the launch of vProfiler, Tek-Tools established the vProfiler User’s Forum, an online forum for virtualization administrators to exchange information and share knowledge about virtualization management challenges and solutions.
• Building on its continued relationship with LSI, Tek-Tools announced that its storage resource management software, Storage Profiler, integrates with LSI Engenio storage systems to provide in-depth monitoring and reports. By integrating Storage Profiler with Engenio storage systems, Tek-Tools and LSI have created a solution that enables users to easily obtain in-depth performance and capacity utilization information on their Engenio storage systems from the same management console that monitors and serves up in-depth reports on every component of the IT infrastructure.
• Tek-Tools was honored with a 2009 Dallas Business Journal Best Places to Work Award in September.
