Keith McCartan, founder of the online service, says PRSource has a unique distribution method. “As anyone knows who has issued press releases, your news can get lost in the huge amount of information published on the Web every day.” He goes on to say “PRSource is very targeted in that it sends press releases directly to people in the transportation and logistics industry, not just through the usual media and web channels.”
Mr. McCartan also stressed that PRSource press releases are a valuable source of intelligence about the transportation and logistics industries. The US logistics industry was valued at $900 billion USD, about 25% of the global industry (2005 Global Logistics Report, Research and Markets).
According the website, PRSource charges $75.00 USD to issue a press release to their subscriber base. There is no charge for receiving press releases and subscribers, the majority of which are in the United States, are able to opt in or out at any time.
