People coming down to sunny Key West Florida and looking to go on one of the fascinating Key West scuba diving excursions during the busy holiday season need not worry about trips being canceled or not running. The Key West Dive Center, Key West's leading center and website for Key West diving and Key West snorkeling trips, will be running trips throughout the entire fall and winter holiday season this year, including holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas and popular events like the World Championship Powerboat Races in early November.
This week, the World Championship Powerboat Races is causing some irregularities in Key West scuba dive trips, but trips will still be running. In fact, several days throughout the championship week, the Key West Dive Center will be offering certified divers the chance to go on a 3-tank dive for the regular price of a 2-tank dive. Interested divers should call the center as soon as possible to find out how to book a spot on these special dives.
The rest of the holiday season is expected to continue running smoothly with little to no change on regularly planned scuba dives. Key West snorkeling trips will also continue to run even on holidays.
"We don't stop for holidays because that's when people come down here," explains reservations agent Christy Young from the Key West Dive Center. "The only thing that really stops us are hurricanes and we haven't had a single one all year."
Regularly scheduled Key West scuba diving ( http://www.keywesttopguides.com ) excursions include a morning "wreck-and-reef"
