The Kids Camp which kicked off on October 25 was aimed at children aged 4-10 years old, to express their creativity through a series of competitions in singing, drawing and painting and a quiz contest.

Dr. Suri, medical consultant of the Al Raffah Hospital graced the event and provided health tips to parents and advice on the advent of immunisation and vaccination. He likewise shed awareness on the common illnesses of children such as diphtheria, measles and other mild diseases.
The Kids Camp was a prelude to the opening of the hospital’s paediatric department, which was inaugurated on November 8, under the auspices of Ms. Shukur Bint Mohamed Al Ghamari, who heads the Omani Women's Association.
The hospital’s Chairman, Dr. Azad Moopen also graced the occasion and distributed the prizes to the winners from each of the talent competitions along with Ms. Shukoor, in a grand finale.
