The African telecommunications market is one of the most dynamic markets and it continues to record high growth rates, passing the 400 million mobile subscriptions mark in 2Q09. This is where Globitel hits upon the ongoing urge to augment its presence in Africa specially focusing on the Sub-Saharan countries.
Based on that and on the streak of previous achievements for Globitel in Ivory Coast, Benin, Gabon, Togo and Nigeria, Globitel has appointed a regional sales force based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The strategic location of Johannesburg, as well as the addition of key personnel with 20 plus years of experience in sales and business development of telecommunication solutions, will allow an enhanced awareness of the African telecommunication market needs which in turn will give a better insight on how to effectively cater for those needs.
Globitel returns to the AfricaCom 2009 to join the whole African telecom community in a networking business focused environment and do business with telecom decision makers from all the 53 African countries to grow and expand in this dynamic continent. Globitel will be also featuring its array of solutions during the event, including their highly successful Roaming, VAS and Customer Care solutions.
