Late in October jml Property Insurance launched a specialist “Rent Guarantee” section on their website as more and more landlords are finding that some tenants cannot pay their rents. The recession and higher unemployment is not helping and so many landlords are considering taking out a Rent Guarantee Insurance policy.
Several insurance providers that jml advertises including HomeLet, Letsure, Endsleigh and Rentguard were added.
Philip Suter of jml Property Insurance.co.uk contacted Ian Simpson the Business Development Manager of Simple Insurance to find out if they had a product that could be advertised on the site. Ian replied that they were working on one and had a specialist website that had just been on test for a few days.
