iCollege Apps was a website created by college students, for the college community. The iCollegeApps idea was hatched in a Stategies to Entrepreneurial Marketing class at the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater and was launched in mid October 2009. The easily recognizable website, iCollegeApps.com, offers many services including a section of consumer reports, a customers voted “app of the day,” and tutorial videos for those looking at how to effectively use their apps. With twitter and facebook followings, iCollegeApps hopes to become the most recognizable consumer report site of iPhone & iPod Touch applications.
