Later this afternoon my apartment is going transform itself into a full-fledged racetrack. At least that is what it is going to sound like thanks to an epic racing video game released today and my home theater. Turning on the Xbox 360, changing the home theater setting to cinematic mode and unwrapping what is being called the finest racer from the Microsoft camp, I am anxious to get into the game.
Judging from the fanfare surrounding Forza 3 there is no doubt in my mind that hundreds of thousands of gamers will be converging online to battle it out, trade tips and talk about how sweet this game is. My brother and I have already made plans to do just that. The vehicle sounds, racetrack look and entire feel is supposed to be spot on. I will later be the judge of that on my own home theater found for a great price online but odds are weighing in favor of all the other positive things people have already said. The roar of a V-12, whine of a supercharger and screech of tires being stopped by massive brake calipers is like music to my ears and with this new game and my home theater, I will soon be in racing heaven.
