Chosen (Rachel Youngblood) was born May 15, 1990 in Chicago, IL.She was raised in Eatonton, Ga.She has been writing & singing since the age of nine. "I remember turning on the radio and knew it could be me some day" She said.
She has gotten her name from the personal experiences & battles that has taken place during her early teenage years, the low self-esteem.
She has given up on her goals on many occasions, because people always told her that she was wasting her time. They said it is a "one in a million " chance of her being successful.
However, no matter how many times she lost courage within her self, she kept striving for the top & still is.
Due to that fact, she felt that there was no way she can walk away, that it is fate, chosen by an higher power for her to proceed.
Growing up, her biggest inspiration was Whitney Houston.
