What happening?
Detroit, however, has allowed 24 sacks, fourth-most in the league, and been intercepted 11 times. That's not a good indicator for what will happen in a stadium loud enough that it makes pass protection even tougher. Combine that with the fact the Lions will be starting rookie quarterback Matthew Stafford, and it's going to add up to another lopsided home victory for Seattle.

What happening?
These are two of the nine teams in the NFL with two wins or fewer, but they are in very different situations. Under first-year coach Jim Schwartz, Detroit is in the first year of a rebuilding process already yielding results. Not only have the Lions managed to win a game, they've given up more than 30 points twice in seven games. Last year, Detroit gave up more than 30 points in 11 of 16 games.

What happening?
Seattle, expected to contend this year, finds itself once again skidding along the bottom of the conference. Coach Jim Mora may be in his first season, but president Tim Ruskell is in the last year of a five-year contract. That means there's a lot at stake in Seattle these final nine games even if the Seahawks don't sniff the playoffs.

What happening?
While the Seahawks have struggled, Qwest Field remains one of the loudest, most challenging places for an opposing quarterback to play. How will Detroit rookie Matthew Stafford handle it? He struggled last week against St. Louis in his first game back from a knee injury. He completed 42.4 percent of his passes, lowest this season.

Seattle has been a different team at home, posting two shutouts in four home games this season. Going back to the start of the 2007 season, Seattle has allowed 16.8 points at home and 26.1 on the road.
