Nov 08, 2009 – Trend setting Chicago artist E.Que Soul is making waves in the urban music industry once again. In September 2009, he entered a contest to remix the single "It Kills Me" by the sensational r&b/soul artist Melanie Fiona. Her song had such an impact on E.Que that he tapped into a side of himself his fans rarely ever see. He was encouraged to write the lyrics that would change his life for the better. The remix version of the song was not a winner in the contest, but it's safe to say E.Que Soul will undoubtedly emerge a winner when this song is released worldwide. Whether it was Melanie Fiona's incredible voice, his naturally competitive nature, or the love interest in his lyrics, E.Que Soul managed to create an absolutely phenomenal song. "Incredible"
was later produced by E.Que himself on an original instrumental and released on his Myspace page as well as Roc4Life.com. The response is unanimously positive and has encouraged a promotional tour along the northern Illinois border for E.Que Soul throughout the November and December months of 2009.
E.Que Soul now finds himself with a barrage of collaboration requests from various underground artists determined to create a stunning single with a similar E.Que effect. With talks of a new club hit being released November 11th along with his tour, E.Que Soul will have his hands full in the immediate future. He promises two singles at a time to reflect the soul singer/rapper persona his fans have grown to admire and respect.
