China Trade Commission Opens Beijing Office

The China Trade Commission finally opened their Beijing office last week to service the Beijing business community in the Haidian District on Zhongguancun Avenue.

The China Trade Commission has announced it has opened a new office in the Haidian District of Beijing near Tsinghua University to service the Beijing  business community. The China Trade Commission originally opened in Hong Kong in 1996 during the Clinton administration, and has facilitated over $15 Billion of international joint ventures between foreign companies and those in China. The new office is staffed by 12 bilingual business development consultants from China, Canada, the U.K., Australia, the United States, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, Brazil, Mexico, Korea, India, and Spain.

The new CTC Beijing office can be reached at 010-8255-1482 Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm. Media Relations Director Paul Zhang also announced that an office in Shanghai will also be opened by January.  The CTC does not accept any unsolicited business plans nor proposals without a completed application. The CTC was established in 1996 during the Clinton era in Hong Kong and New York to assist and promote joint venture opportunities between Chinese and western business ventures & facilitate funding if required. The CTC is staffed by bi-lingual business development and due diligence executives from around the world. Green and energy projects are now given priority, but most any viable venture with experienced principals and a healthy balance sheet are considered. The CTC charges no up-front fees but will charge a reasonable fee once LOIs are exchanged. All projects and ventures are subject to satisfactory due diligence and market demands. No telephone calls or unsolicited business plans will be accepted until a completed application has been received. The project review board meets on the 15th if every month to evaluate all applications received.
