If you are reading this article, it is likely that you have already experienced some of the Issues involving the Xbox 360 and the Xbox 360 red light problems.  This article will give you some helpful info to help prevent or get rid of the 3 red lights for good so that you can have your system back up and running and play all of your games once again.

The main reason that the Xbox 360 gets the 3 red lights is through overheating of the system.  If you keep the console in an enclosed area without sufficient ventilation then you are risking getting the 3 red lights.

It is best to keep the Xbox 360 uncovered so that you it can get lots of air all around the 360 as the console is full of components that cannot handle too much heat and the 3 red lights will be caused by the motherboard bending because of this.

I know it sounds weird but another thing you can do to minimize the risk of getting the 3 red lights on the Xbox is to make sure that you raise your power brick off the floor!

Although what you may not know is that the power brick that comes with the Xbox 360 has little fans inside also that actually pump out the heat and you can help make this more effective by raising it up on a cardboard box where this too can also breathe!

Another thing and what I use is the Nyko Intercooler and this plugs into the back of the Xbox and pumps air out so to stop the overheating, so instead of just one fan working with the intercooler you get three.

If you are already suffering from the Xbox 360 3 Red Light problems then you should either send it back to Microsoft and they will fix it for you in about 4-6 weeks, or you could check out this site, for a small fee you can get all of the absolute best info to get you 360 fixed within 30 minutes.
