Law Firm's 5 Hour Driving Course, Gas Card Sweepstakes and Free Taxi Ride Program a Huge Success

New York personal injury law firm continues to offer New York State required, five-hour driver's course free of charge to local high schoolers, gas card sweepstakes and free taxi ride program.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Nov 06, 2009 – Albany, NY –  Personal injury law firm Martin, Harding & Mazzotti's three community programs continue to be embraced by the public. Since their beginning, these programs have had tremendous participation.

The five-hour, pre-licensing driving course is required by New York State and being offered to local high school students completely free of charge. Since the law firm began offering the class in April, 2009, 34 students have taken the class at the offices of the firm in Niskayuna.

The class is open to students from Colonie Central High School, North Colonie (Shaker) High School, Niskayuna High School, Schenectady High School and the Christian Brothers Academy. At a future date, the firm will open up the class to all schools in the community.
Registration for the five-hour class is now open on www.1800LAW1010.com where students with their New York state learner’s permits can register for one of the free classes; seating is limited.

“We understand students are eager to drive as soon as they get their permits,” said Paul B. Harding, the firm’s managing partner. “But we want to make sure our local teenagers are fully educated and ready to take on the responsibilities of becoming a licensed driver.”
The gas card giveaway is open to those who register at Martin, Harding & Mazzotti's site. The firm has given out three first place $100 gas card prizes, three second place $60 gas card prizes and three third place $40 gas card prizes. The next drawing in 2009 will happen December 31st.

The gas card sweepstakes awards three random winners to receive a first, second and third place gas card. To be entered in the contest go to www.1800LAW1010.com and click the Gas Card Sweepstakes Button. Fill out the form and you will be automatically contacted if you are one of the three randomly picked winners.

Paul Harding continued, “We all know what a burden gas prices have been over the last year, this gas card sweepstakes offers members of our community the chance to keep a little more in their wallet.”

Lastly, the firm has been offering free taxi rides from area locations, on certain holiday dates for those who have had too much to drink – free and no questions asked. This program’s goal is to make the community safer by reducing drunk driving and saving lives. Free taxi rides are offered in 2009 on Super Bowl Sunday, St. Patrick’s Day, Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Weekend and New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. On those days, all you have to do is call the firm at 1-800-LAW-1010, request a taxi and be picked up for free.

Harding concludes, “Our goal is to not only get people home safely during this year’s holidays, it is to reduce the risk to all of us.”

This program has a history of doing just that. In 2009, alone, the firm paid for 657 rides for 846 riders in New York's Capital District and the Utica area, significantly making the New York community safer for everyone.
