MCKINNEY, TEXAS -- The Mom and Popcorn Company, located in downtown McKinney, Texas, has launched a completely new website at http://www.momandpopcorn.com . The site carries over the very nostalgic look and feel that shoppers experience while inside the actual retail store, including old-fashioned phrases, icons and pictures from days gone by.
“It was very important for us to have a website that gives shoppers a unique and memorable experience like they have when they visit our store,” said Kim Loyd, owner of Mom and Popcorn. “People of all ages have fun shopping at Mom and Popcorn and their eyes light up when they walk into our store and we wanted that same reaction for customers on the Web. I think we achieved that and we’re really excited about having a new way to reach more customers, not only locally but around the world.”
The new Mom and Popcorn website was the creation of lifeBLUE Media and the design team took inspiration from many visits to the store over the course of the development process. “We are long-time customers and big fans of Mom and Popcorn and did our best to develop an online representation of their retail store,” said Phillip Blackmon, owner of http://www.lifeblue.com “It was a unique and fun project for us and we think the website will be a popular destination for online shoppers and people interested in all things nostalgic and old fashioned.”
The website features over 45 delicious popcorn flavors, including Cajun, Salsa Verde, Green Apple, Caramel Peanut and some as unique as Tomato Basil or Dill Pickle. The tasty popcorn is available in five sizes ranging from snack size all the way to extra large bags. Gift Pails are available with collegiate logos and can be ordered with up to three different popcorn flavors inside. Popcorn Tins are also offered in one, two, three and six gallon sizes with the option to add a mix of flavored popcorn. The site also features novelty and nostalgic candy from the past. Some of the wonderful treats include Candy Necklaces, Fizzies, Good & Plenty and Jujubes to name a few. Saltwater Taffy and other assorted candy can be ordered in bulk on the website.
