Texas Hotel–Hotel Galvez & Spa to Offer Great Holiday Discounts in December

PR Log (Press Release) – Nov 06, 2009 – Texas’ only historic beachfront hotel will offer holiday discounts on its spa and restaurant during the month of December. Hotel Galvez’ Getaway for the Holidays package includes discounts to downtown merchants with complimentary shuttle service, two tickets to Moody Gardens Festival of Lights, a 15 percent discount on a special holiday-themed spa treatment and a 20 percent discount on food at Bernardo’s Restaurant at Hotel Galvez.

This package is $399 for a two-night stay on Friday and Saturday, excluding Dec. 4 and 5, and $269 for a two-night stay Sunday through Thursday. The 20 percent discount does not apply to the hotel’s Sunday Brunch with Santa or the hotel’s  Christmas Day Brunch.

Hotel Galvez is transformed to celebrate the holiday season with elegant Christmas trees, palm trees and its annual gingerbread replica display of the historic hotel created by Executive Chef Jerry Helminksi.

During the month of December, the hotel’s live entertainment will take on a holiday theme on Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays, from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests can also enjoy holiday-themed specialty drinks.
