EA Worldwide attends 2009 International Series Tampa Bay Buccaneers VS New England Patriots

PR Log (Press Release) – Nov 06, 2009 – EA Worldwide set out to celebrate their organizations huge success in 2 ½ years since opening here in UK by attending the 2009 International Series game between Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots at Wembley Stadium on the 25th of November.  The Bucs have a connection to a great sporting brand name on UK shores, with team owner, Malcolm Glazer who is also the owner of Manchester United.

15 members of EA’s management and marketing team watched from a corporate box and that made up part of the sell out 85,000 person crowd, the largest crowd of any of the three NFL regular season games played at Wembley.

EA Worldwide’s CEO, Josh Cote, is a New England native so it seemed the perfect game to attend to celebrate the company’s success and watching the Patriots’ dominate the Buccaneers in a 35-7 win was the icing on the cake for him.

Tom Harris, assistant manager at EA Worldwide said “This is my first time to Wembley Stadium, even better seeing it from the Pitch View restaurant; luckily I am surrounded by Americans who understand how to play this game, definitely coming back as soon as possible!”
