Nov 06, 2009 – Cologne. At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of TÜV Rheinland passed some resolutions that are crucial to the future of the Group.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bruno O. Braun was elected as Chairman of the Supervisory Board with effect from 1 January 2010. As has been planned for a long time, Prof. Bruno O. Braun, who has headed the Group since 1993 as Chief Executive Officer, will resign from his top level management post to take the chair of the Supervisory Board.
Friedrich Hecker was appointed his successor in office with effect from 1 January 2010. He has been on the Executive Board as Deputy Chairman since 1 June 2009.
